Dashes Or Underscores In URLs- Which One To Use For Better SEO?

There is a common question that many of us would like to get answered is the use of 'Dashes (-)' or 'Underscores ( _ )' in the post title ( in case of Blogger) or in URLs in general. As the URL of your Blogger blog post is determined by the post title its self, so the impact of any of the two (we would discuss that below in the post) would effect your SEO and thus blog traffic as a whole.

Dashes Or Underscores? Which One To Use In Post Title/URLs?

As per Matts, dashes (-) are considered as separators while underscores ( _ ) are NOT. In the case of Blogger, you don't need to worry about the issue as Blogger places dashes automatically within each keyword in post URLs as shown in the picture below.

So in case you have the option, like in WordPress, you should choose dashes instead of underscores for separating your keywords in post URLs.
