The new Facebook algorithm gives you the liberty to chose from new list of options to display contents of your choice on the home screen. This means that you can custom select just photo-related posts, music-themed updates, or posts from pages and people you follow via Subscribe, to appear on the home screen.

If you want to know every possible update without missing anything, you can set the News Feed to get it all for you. The process of setting the News Feed to give each and every update live, results in an expanded version of the ticker, that currently covers the right side of  your facebook home screen (old News Feed).

The expanded ticker will not just give you status updates ont he news feeds but updates from the smallest activities, even if its liking a photo which was orginally uploaded back in some day, hence giving you too much of the details.

In case you have already recieved the new design of the facebook home page, here is what you can do to enable the News Feeds to give you all possible updates.

Step # 1: Click on the arrow that appear at the top of your right screen in the News Feed.

This change will result in your updated News Feed showing you everything starting from the most recent activity. In case you want to limit the updates being shown on the home paeg, you can always select a different option from the drop down menu as shown in the figures above.

So glad about it? Stalkers will defnitely going to enjoy the update. What do you think about this new layout of the home page? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
