How To Clear Your Facebook Search History

Facebook is inevitably one of the largest evolving social media platform and is currently in use by billions and counting. Any person that you come across in real life is most definitely available on Facebook and that is probably the reason why we got some professional creepers or stalkers here.

So just like you creep on people like maybe your crushes, Facebook appears to be a bigger Creep as it is constantly recording all your searches. Although the search history is completely private, it is unsettling once you look at it the case might just get worse if some unauthorized person somehow manages to get access to your private search.

Facebook accounts are often compromised and this makes your history vulnerable to unauthorized access and that would just be your worst nightmare huh? Because stalking is technically meant to stay completely to yourself, but  Facebook understands your requirements and so provides easy methods to delete all the evidence of the thorough stalking jobs you have been employed at.

Eager to know how?  Just follow the steps below.

Step #1: Open up you Facebook profile and click on the ‘Activity Log’ button, the one in the corner of your cover photo. Activity Log is basically what it sounds like, a log of your activities on Facebook.

Step #4: There comes your entire Facebook search history. If you don’t mind, do surely take a look at your stalking history. Not to feel embarrassed or so, but you may find some important personalities that you had long forgotten of. Surely can’t expect you to just let go of stalking can I?

Just click on the 'Clear Searches' option at the top right as shown in the figure above.

Step #5: Now Facebook knows that you might have just clicked that button by accident and so will give you a confirmation dialog on whether you want to get rid of all that search history of yours or not?

But now since you’ve made up your mind (I hope so) click on ‘Clear Searches’ on the popup.

Step #6: Bam! It’s gone, all the records of your immense and intense stalking since the day you joined Facebook is completely erased and no, there is no Undo option here.

Though Facebook might still have that data for reasons we don’t know but you no longer you.
